what do you say to someone who's lost all his sense of self-worth?

it's really painful to see you fall away and feel so useless about yourself. you used to be this big guy who had everything going well for you. then. suddenly, you lost almost everything, save for your life and family. you had to relearn stuff, and i know getting back on your feet wasn't easy. literally. but, i've always kept you in my mind, even now, when it seems you're on the track of recovery. my greatest dream was, and still is, to see you testify about how God gave you a second chance at life. along with my other dream that i share with sherry to see EH back to the person he used to be. and i'm sure things will get better, even if it takes a long time. i guess parents will always be parents. your mom's just putting up a strong front for your sake. she loves you too much and doesn't wanna trouble you further with her own thoughts and problems. she knows that you're already having a hard enough time. just know that God's always with you. even if you somehow think He isn't anymore. and i'll always be praying for you. the same way i've been doing since the very day you fell. hey, that's what friends are for right? wanna see you stand tall again, dude. don't crumble or i'd be the tallest around.
