it's been awhile since i blogged. been a little busy with choosing schools last week, plus watching autumn's concerto and playing with my new touch (:
but, i must say, choosing schools is a really bad experience. i know, everybody says i can go to practically ANY school i want. i know i know. but what's best for me? initially, before results, i told myself that i would go to RI if i could make it. but no! after results, my parents weren't too keen on me going there, even though it'd be much more convenient since my brother and i would be studying in the same freaking smart top school in singapore. i mean, won't they be really proud to say, oh! both my children attend RAFFLES INSTITUTION. personally, if i were somebody else i'd be like. WOW. jawdrop. your kids so smart arhh. but they said that the RI and RGS KIDS (since they haven't undergone the 'baptism of fire' and taken the crappy exam called the O levels) would stick to their cliques and since i wasn't that outgoing or social (some how when you say outgoing/social, i think, NAT.. haha. not that it's bad. it's just a general impression) enough. so. despite the beautiful campus (OH GOSH LOOK AT THEIR LIBRARY FOR GOODNESS SAKE AND TELL ME WHERE ELSE YOU HAVE 2 FIELDS IN ONE COMPOUND. PLUS A POOL AND WHATEVER OTHER FACILITIES) and prestige, RI got eliminated. ahwells.
then came ACJC. not ACSi mind you. don't intend to do IB. so i figured that there'd be no point if i chose ac cause.. well.. let's just say i deserve better.
and NJ. at first i was rather ok-ish with it. you know, since ERNWEI (heart heart heart) and ANNABELLE (you're too smart for NJ anna!) already chose it... but somehow i didn't feel too good after going for the open house. i just felt bad. i went home and cried. literally broke down cause i was confused. terrible feeling.
you must be wondering, what about HCI? i kinda didn't consider it till the last day. but too late for regrets anyway. i chose NJ in the end. cause at least i'd have company (not just people i KNOW, but people i LOVE) nesides, it's about 18+months before As. yes, i've started the countdown already. sure i can survive whatever comes my way these few months~ (oh i forgot, SHERRY WONG IS COMING NJ TOO. sherryyy! if you see this, I REALLY HOPE YOU CAN COME NJ SO I'LL HAVE CHURCHIES-YOOS MATES TO CHILL OUT WITH)
oh, but back to RI. actually, the people there don't seem too bad la. idk. maybe it's just the few that i know? (ADVENTURE TRIBE MATES (((: )
talking about adventure tribe, sherry asked me who was in my group for iLOVE camp. i was like.. oh, marcus they all...
and she went: Oh! the campus superstar one arh!
i was like: he was in campus super star meh.
then i went to search. OMG. HAHAHAHAHAA. REALLY LEH. SUPER DUPER COOL.
this was his last performance after he got eliminated. which i thought was pretty good! :D
got to learn a new game called tchoukball on saturday. i think i lost my ball sense. grace and mengyang were right. i think i can't throw a ball far enough or hard enough anymore ): and i'm a useless player la. i just stand in the middle and go static. haha. but tchouk ball doesn't need much moving anyway. no need to defend or intercept. pretty cool game, i must say. totally non-contact so it can be played mixed gender.. i wouldn't mind playing la. but gotta get my reflexes and fitness up first (:
I THINK PEARL IS MY ANGEL. haha. we're playing angel and mortal in church and pearl was in my tchoukball group on saturday. after that she wrote me a note saying my ball sense was not bad (I REALLY IS BAD), cause i kept complaining to her about my sucky ball sense. and i got gobstoppers from her!! (: hehe i love the stuff. used to eat them when i was younger. Jonathan, who's like this guy in my group watched as chrystella passed me the bag with the note and the sweets, saying 'this is for you from your angel' . he totally went like, do i have an angel? is my angel gonna give me stuff toooo?? hahahhaa. i thought guys don't get jealous over such small things.
AND! I FINALLY GOT MY TOUCH ON SUNDAY! :D hehhhhh. i accompanied my dad to epicenter and simlim square(to get printer ink) and figured that in simlim square:
1) 80% of the people milling around are MALE. understandable. how many ladies would be interested in electronics anyway?
2) SNSD VIDEOS ARE ON REPEAT IN EVERY SHOP SELLING ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH A SCREEN. (and a little kara or BEG) be it laptops, netbooks, TVs, mp4s... everywhere i turned was like 'RUN DEVIL DEVIL RUN DEVIL RUN RUN' or 'GEE GEE GEE GEE BABY BABY BABY'. i was like WTH can??? then i began thinking. why SNSD and not SUPER JUNIOR or SHINee or SS501? then i realised. cause it appeals to the male majority. ewww. they're using SNSD to draw in male customers.
talking about kara. they're disbanding. DSP is in deep crap. haha. loser DSP, losing another valuable band. but i'm kinda sad kara might go their separate ways. they're really talented and cute. plus, they're kinda my favourite girl group. ah wells.
one last thing. PARK JUNGMIN of SS501 IS COMING BACK TOMORROW (HA! TO DSP. IN YOUR FACE) so happy for jungmin ((: i can't wait to see his new album!
