sometimes i wonder why. why i've become so cold and emotionless. i realised that i don't, or more like, can't cry anymore. it's almost as if the tears have dried up. i need to cry, badly. but the tears won't come. i need to let the emotions and feelings out, but they're stuck. i've acted like i was strong for way too long. now it's become too much a part of me. i don't think that's what i want. frankly. i'm not me anymore. i've changed. people who are around me alot probably won't notice, but i know myself best. the old me is gone. i used to be happy go lucky. i still seem to be, but inside? well i don't know anymore. i've wanted to do so many things and opportunities have gone past. no more time, no more chance. besides, does anybody really care anymore? i don't want to think about it. it's too painful to face the truth. so here i am, going about daily life pretending to be normal and that everything's fine. but it's not. i'm escaping from the truth and reality. but the truth hurts most of the time right? so i might as well stay away. i don't like the way things are and the way i feel, but you'll still see me smiling, no doubt about it. just whether there's sincerity behind it is another thing. i used to think i was sincere. now that's gone too.
